Registration

How to Register Students

Students can be added to an admin account in two ways:

Option 1: Individual Student Registration through Custom URL

When a SkillsBuild for Students team member replies to your org account request, they will include a custom registration URL linked to your account that can be sent out to students to self-register. The URL is directly linked to your user ID and your organization ID so that when students are registered, they will populate in your school or organization. The custom URL will look like this:
https://ptech-reg.eu-de.mybluemix.net/?org=XXXX&mgr=XXXXXREG

Here is an example of the actual email you will be receiving. The first custom link is the one you would be giving to your set of students. This is an important step because you will only have admin capabilities over students who are registered to you using this custom url (or bulk upload method if you choose option 2).

Option 2: Bulk Registration

This is a perfect option for teachers/administrators who wish to have a Digital Success Team member register your students via bulk upload.

Simply use this CSV template to send us student names, email addresses, the admin(s) they should be assigned to, and if they are over the age of digital consent in your country. This list needs to be emailed to student-advisor@skillsbuild.orgTo check the age of digital consent, please reference this list of countries:
